Mark your calendars for the evening of Saturday, May 3rd for the annual live and silent auction to support the Youth Group Mission Trip. This year promises to be a very special mission to the Philippines where PCIS adult and youth mission groups will engage in projects to help the Little Children of the Philippines, a program that PCIS has actively supported for many years.

As in recent years, we promise to surprise and delight Auction attendees with unique entertainment and awesome auction items. If you have auction items to offer (dinners, vacation homes, expertise, etc) or if you would like to help out, please contact Martha Welsh.

Food for FUNdraiser at Dream Dinners

We have an exciting fund-raiser planned for May! Dream Dinners is your meal-time solution. At Dream Dinners, they provide everything you need to assemble delicious dinners for your family. There will be a choice of 6 dinners from the May menu. For each person that attends, Dream Dinners will donate $25.00 to the Youth Gone South program. The date is May 14th at 7:00pm. Dream Dinners is located at 847 Edgell Rd. Framingham. Please contact Jane Dossett for more information and to sign up.

PCIS Golf Tournament

Register now for the PCIS Golf Tournament! It will be on Sunday, May 18th at the Wayland Golf Course. The fun starts at 2:00pm with special goody bags, 18 holes of golf, use of golf cart and special tournament challenges. After playing, everyone will meet back at the church for a spaghetti dinner, awards and prizes - all this for a $60 registration fee for each player. The tournament is a benefit for the Youth Gone South – East Asia Mission Trip. Only the first 20 players to register can participate so hurry and don’t miss out on the fun! Registration forms can be found in the Fellowship Hall. Contact the Tournament Director, Don Soulé, with questions. CANNOT PLAY? How about being a $60 sponsor? Your donation would help those who would like to join in but do not have the means at this time to handle the registration fee.

As we write this, preparations for the annual Youth Gone South–East Asia are proceeding at a frenzied pace - some events will be history as you read this. We are truly grateful for the generosity of this congregation in its support of all of our fundraising including the Chili Cook-off, Bake Sales, and upcoming Auction and Golf Tournament. Thank you so much for contributing your time, talents and funds to help us achieve our mission goal. We will continue to report on the activities surrounding this trip as the months proceed.

For more than 15 years, the incredible support and generosity of this church community has enabled our Senior High Youth Group to:

rebuild homes for poor families in rural Maine and Appalachia

assist abused women and their children in Georgia
